How do I access the online order status system ?

The online order status sytem can be accessed from the Order status hyperlink at the top of every page. After clicking on this link you will be presented with a login page. You will need your email address and the password you used when you set up your account to acces your order. Enter your eamil and password when prompted.

How do I interpret my order status ?

Pending - order has been received, but has not yet been checked and validated.

Processing - order has been received and validated and is being processed, but has not yet shipped.

Refunded - order has been refunded.

Shipped - order has been shipped. If the order was shipped by UPS a tracking number wil be added in the comments, so that you can track your order. Any refunds or excess charges will also be annotated in the message section of the status display.

On reviewing my order it says that certain items are no longer available what does this mean ?"

Some items may have gone out of stock after your order was placed. You may wish to contact customer support to determine what needs to be done if an item is unavailable.

When I click on an item it does not add to my cart ...

The problem you are experiencing is because the item you selected is out of stock. If you have a pop up blocker installed, it may be supressing the message box which tells you the item is out of stock. To enable pop-ups for our site go to internet explorer tools menu. Choose pop-up blocker. Pop blocker settings sub menu and add the domain www.britishdelights.com You may call the number below and make a back order if you wish.

I have forgotten my password what shall I do?

Click on the order status link at the top of each page. This will take you to a login page where you can enter your email. Enter your email and click submit. Your apssword will be sent to you.

My package arrived, but there is an item broken. What shall I do ?

We pay insurance with UPS to cover such eventualities. You will need to register a claim with UPS. Please call 1-800-PICK-UPS. Once you have the claim registered, give us a call with the reference and we will be able to ship another one. Please do not refuse delivery of damaged packages. If a refused package is shipped back to us, you may be liable for return shipping charges.

Are your shipping rates actual rates or estimated rates?

Our rates are still estimated rates. However, our rates are obtained from the Carrier's server in real time and accurately reflect the weight of the goods which you ordered. In most cases no additional shipping will be required. In some cases it may be necessary to pack your order in 2 separate boxes, (eg if a full case of crisps has been ordered with other items, or if goods which require thermal packaging have been ordered with non thermal products) ,  in this case an additional shipping charge may be required.

How do I get an estimate of my shipping costs?

To get an estimate of your shipping cost, select the item (or items) you are interested in and add it (them) your cart. Click on the checkout button and when you get to the page where you enter your address, fill in the country (USA)  and your ZIP code. (these are the only required items for our shipping calculator). Click on the view rates button and the shipping rates for all the carriers we use will be displayed.
